The Singapore Party.

Okay guess what now?
My lecturer aka the course manager, Mr Jonathan __________, called us the Singapore Party.

Ahh damn cute.

But it's the fact that, the Singaporeans in the class have become the majority!
Sounds funny, but it's true! Heh!

All thanks to SMA and UOP for the MOU signed, else I won't be here I guess?



Just a short update:

Thursday
We attended the Business School Freshers' Reception. Frankly speaking, I didn't know what to expect, but food was for sure HAHA =/ Trying to dress up properly but it was kinda difficult considering that we don't have that MUCH clothes right here. So... I was wearing a black turtle neck sweater and my favourite checkered green skinnies. No fashion disaster, don't worry. HAHA. Just that some people were REALLY formal, like dresses and blazers thing..

Made new friends through an ice breaking game where you have a piece of paper with 5 qns that you gotta find people who fulfill that qns. Eg. Have 3 brothers or more/ Know more than 2 languages/ Can play an instrument...

We almost gave up the idea of playing that game, till I suddenly got the urge to make new friends. HAHAHAHA. No doubt, enning and I target the 帅哥s in the house yo! *shy*

Caught one really shuai one, but he's in the final year liao and I think he not interested in us so I AM SAD but nevermind! I was really glad to make a Hungarian friend too! He's like, just done with his Bachelor's (graduated on tues) and on thurs he attended the Freshers' reception cos HE'S TAKING MASTERS! HAHA so cute right the system =D

We went to the roundabout (a pub/bar) with him and our sgp party, finally get to drink my malibu with pineapple. But was not a perfect ratio for me this time :( No taste de..

Oh btw, his name is George :) He even walked serene and I... halfway home hahaha.

Friday
Went to induction at Cookworthy Building (Business School) but somehow it's at the Davy Building (at the other side of the campus)... Hehe got my student card. SO NICE. First time I think my student card nice leh. Hiak hiak hiak :P

Got into a lecture theatre for the induction thingy and it was quite funny at the start.. Cos everyone outside the LT rushed into it as the lecturer opens the room. Then he started mentioning the various courses under him and said: Okay if you're not under these courses, then you can leave now.

Wah jitao half of the people walk out. Nice start for me, hahaha.
(Heng no handsome one, so not sad :D)

I was happy when I can actually understand what the lecturer has to say. Ya, my english sucks :( I can read but can't really get certain accents :( Singapore-lang say de then I can understand looooo. Hahaa -.-

We actually had a 2nd boat ride organised by the business school. I think we are like in the maritime department kind, but I think they call us the management one leh. So I dunno la, haha.

The boat ride's duration was longer, and lesser people. And I made new friends too!

There's haikal from SMA, graduated in 2005!!! Actually met him there, so cool :)
And Jho from China but has been in the UK for 3 yrs le..Funny kid, I thought he's older than me and he got sad. LOL!!! He even complained to our ang moh friends -.-
There's Klaus from Norway and Craig from Scotland, both 2nd mate already!!!

I did not regret going for this boat trip AGAIN =DDD

At night, there's International Students' Reception at the same venue as thurs'.. Food was the same.. everything bread.. Made new friends again! TK from Thailand, a girl from Japan, people from Hongkong and Malaysia and ahhhhh, so many! ^^

Went to roundabout AGAIN with my girls and Klaus and Craig. Klaus ordered DOUBLE malibu for me and wah, really got difference hohoho! I want to buy malibu soon!!! Left early and a little incident happened as I was leaving the pub. 吓死人 wor!!! Shall not reveal it here, but you can always ask me in person.. short story but traumatizing. I think I really am a 乖宝宝 :)




Saturday
Woke up in the afternoon, and watched Personal Peference/ Taste by Lee Min Ho, nice drama but I still think that You're Beautiful is the best wakaka!

Cooked 蛋包饭 and was quite successful? Haha.
I even went to search on the net on how to make lor.
In the end kena cheated, never teach how to wrap the egg properly one.

1st video teach how to make the egg like abit scramble style inside and hard on the outside, den put on the rice, then you slit the egg and pry it open.. then it looks like the rice is wrapped -.- WAH LAME LEH!!!

2nd one more zai, jitao bring out a pan for such method, then you just gotta put the egg on the pan, put the rice into the hole, den close up the 2 flaps at the side and get it wrap. So emo to find such things online :(

Anyway my own method I think better lor, at least the rice is wrapped manually. Hahaha! Photo with serene, so just gotta wait for her to upload lo!




And tomorrow there's clubs and societies fair! You know de la, I everything also dunno, only know how to kaypo. Tomorrow must go check it out liao! Wheeheehee ;)
