It is a so called 5-day round trip to Aberystwyth, Prysor (Gorge walk), Snowdonia, then back to Aber and back home.
Had a rush morning, hence explaining serene's facebook photo on the 'Ants having party @ Chaddlewood'. I am truly, very very sorry about the mess I've created before leaving the house. Sorry enning!!!
I was in such a mad rush that I almost forgot to change into my hiking boots and went off with my flip flops. Hahaha. That's how rush I was. Sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got onto the cab, went to the city centre for a bit to drop the pratters off his workplace to get his books. He NEEDS to read. If not he will die. Oh let's not talk about how books always kill me :S
Board the train on time and there we embark our journey to the...
West? North? Idk. Hahaha.
It was a 7-hour journey.
Changed train at Birmingham New Street.
And we had to change carriage @ the second leg cos the train will 'break' and split into 2 routes @ Shrewsbury. So basically we went from the first carriage to the last, and from forwarding, the train 'broke' and we started moving backwards. Hahahaha this is wayyyyy cool. It had never hit upon me that train can work this way.
Plymouth is the last station on our line, and Aber is the last on that line.
From one end to another, painful much? Not so.
Excitement removes the bore!!! :D
Reached Aber. The first thing I saw at the train station was Wetherspoon! Hahaha the spoon was just located beside the railway. Idk how to phrase it, but basically if the train overshot the rail, it will knock down the spoon's customers :O I was in a rather toot state, with my anchor tee, anchor jacket, knee-length cotton grey tights plus my pink timberland boots. With a rather small rucksack + a roll mat. I thought I was quite cute. hahahahahahahaa :P
Indeed, as what pratters told me. Wales has got MUCH MORE interchangeable weather, more windy, colder... Aiyo. More stories about the weather later.
Dave and Lauren came to get us. Got into Lauren's car...
Vroom vroom to Dave's flat. Settled down, had home made pizza and couscous. Then head of out for a walk then pub!
The first amazing that we saw was sunset. Timing was just right. And not to mention their uni halls are just 50 steps to the beach.
Walk up a tiny hill. And here's the view from midway.
It was windy like crazy in Wales.
Bottom centre of the pic is a railway to take up to the top of the hill.
If I'm not wrong it's for the residents. Haha.
Windy remember? Hence shaky hands and blurry photos.
Pratters, Lauren, and Baby Lamb Dave hahaha.
Went higher and that's pretty much.. the whole Aber town? :/
Few more steps to falling off the cliff!
Adventurous couple!
Sua-gu take this kind of pictures ^^
Torn Welsh flag flying up high.
Friends since 5 years old.
Still behave like 5-year-old and posing with Lauren's leather jacket.
Hahahahahahahahahaha.
.
Adventure day starts on Day 2!
Do look forward to it :P
It's like going for adventure camp like that.
Hahahahahhahahahahhha Best trip everrrrrrrr!
