The lowest form of life, what?

Today kind of suck because I can't meet Habi after work.

Anyhoo, his very nice job has gladly made him available to have lunch with me muahaha.

So he came to fetch me and we tried this new coffeeshop at Commonwealth/Buona Vista place. The dumb carpark had this dumb speed hump which injured his car’s bottom..
Then the hump hor.. got A LOT of scratches one. How many cars bottom injured already!!!
“No wonder so many people illegal parking outside lahhh”

Hahahaha cute. His xiaobai has been injured at the rim recently too. And is currently quite dirty as we’re away for quite awhile.

Okay la enough of car talks. I know nuts.

And so I had my you mian and he had his mee hoon kuey.
The food was decent..like normal lor. Edible.

Then we talked about “Technical People”.

“Technical people are the lowest form of life.”

Oh fuck you if you think so. I know people who do. And these people are ignorant and arrogant, often in the business/commercial side.

Habi was sharing his encounters with those “Business People” and I can’t agree more with him that the “Business People” tend to look down on the “Technical People” because they work with spanners and screws.

I myself, is in this business where (some) technical knowledge is fundamental to even speaking to anyone in the industry. I have met very good examples of such ‘Business’ people thus far.
It’s disgusting to hear them speak with a ‘look-down on you’ tone to the “Technical People”.
It’s even disgusting when all such “Business People” think is that “You think the technical people very clever meh, they are liars. And they so stupid still want to play games with us.”

More often than not, these “Technical People” are the honest and practical people who give you facts and valuable advices based on their EXPERIENCE.

Some of these “Business People” are the ones who are witty (such a kind word to use) and think fast enough to lie all the time. These are the people who play with words and use dirty moves in Business and get things done.

At the end of the day, who cares?

“Business People”, or many organizations call them the assets, bring in money for the company.

“Technical People” are just the ‘after-sale service’ or ‘support-team’ that are operating costs.

Anyway my observation is.. this perception of “Technical People” ranks lower than “Business People” usually occurs at low-mid level of the hierarchy.

And here, I’m ending this random post.

I wish I was technically trained.
